Aloha!
Natalie Morey has taught at Maryknoll for many years, and is currently serving as the Dean of Classic Literacies (English-Mathematics), and Co-Coordinator of the Senior Project, a graduation requirement of Maryknoll School. In 2008, she was Co-Chair of our WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Accreditation, and also fulfilled that role in February, 2014. Once again, Maryknoll received a full 6 year term.
Mrs. Morey received her B.A. in Communication-Education, English, and Social Science from Michigan State University, and her M.Ed in Educational Leadership from the University of Hawaii. In 2014, she received a Leadership Achievement Award from the National Council of Teachers of English/Conference on English Leadership. This year, she is teaching Biography, Nonfiction and College Composition, and Advanced Placement Language and Composition. The Nonfiction class in the first semester is an advanced class, but is not restricted to only those students taking AP. Regardless of a student's selection, all classes are outstanding preparation for college.
